Lemon & Tarragon Dip with Crispy Parmesan Artichoke Hearts

LoL... I hear it all the time and we've all seen the memes; No one really wants to read the reasons behind posting a recipe. So I have good news for you! This one has no rhyme or reason except that it's this weeks Cooking with The Concrete Forager class favorite!

Smear this dip on everythingggg because it is addicting. Super savory, salty, creamy and a little acidic. It pairs really well with Crispy Parmesan Artichoke Hearts (recipe below) but would also be great for dipping veggies or smearing on a sandwich. Parmesan Artichoke Hearts are a super fast and tasty appetizer to make from the stuff you've got in your pantry. Because lets be honest, sometimes people just show up and you've gotta scrounge the kitchen for something to feed them. This cant just be me, can you relate?

So put your eatin' pants on because if the picture isn't making your mouth water, reading this recipe surely will.

COOKING TIPS

Recipes are never rules!

Use your judgment; if you've made it before and it has worked by shaking not stirring, try it! If the recipe says something will brown after 12 minutes in the oven and your's hasn't browned yet, leave it until you think its brown enough.

Taste, taste, taste!

Any good chef will tell you to taste your food multiple times as you cook. Stick your spoon in and see if it tastes good. Is your food seasoned well? Can it use more salt or pepper? Would you like it if it were a bit sweeter? Everyone's palate is different, if you think it needs something; Go for it!
